Stichting Tomo decided to start 2017 with a new event, TomoFair Amsterdam. A brand new event that’s different from the last TomoFair. This time they chose the World Fashion Centre in Amsterdam as their home base.
Even though this is a nice and big location it was still busy, too busy, actually. One of the halls you could barely walk through because of how crowded it was, the other hall was less crowded compared to the other. They could’ve moved a couple of stands to this hall to help spread the crowd a bit, in my opinion, as there was room for it. Other than that TomoFair Amsterdam seemed to pull in a crowd of new people as well, which is positive of course. In the end TomoFair Amsterdam does not differ much from the TomoFair in Nijmegen, they’re both fairs. The only real difference beside the location is that the program had more in it, some lectures, workshops, a quiz, and an AMV compo.
