Following the release of their new album, I’m Hungry !!, rock duo Moja, consisting of a drummer and a bassist, will be coming to Europe for an extensive tour starting in Brussels on 22 October. With shows in eight countries, the band will be sharing the stage at some shows with Yowie, an American experimental rock band who have also just released a new album.

Active since 2007, the duo consists of bassist/vocalist Haru and drummer Masumi, and their sound is described as rock with the core elements of distortion, rhythm and chemistry, creating a wall of sound that is both aggressive and hypnotic.

Over the years, they have released several albums and singles and performed around the world, including at festivals such as SXSW, Tallinn Music Festival, and Stepping Stone Festival. After their upcoming European tour, they can add Left of the Dial to that list. Earlier this year, they joined forces with THE MOLICE to start a new project, MO. Under this name, they released their first song this summer, which is only available on vinyl. On 26 September, the album I’m Hungry !! was released, presenting the energy of a DIY mentality with noise rock.

The photo features the members of MONO facing each other with their profiles highlighted against a background that suggests an intimate atmosphere. They are depicted in such a manner that creates the illusion of being mirror images of one another, yet distinct individuals.
