Pop-metal idol group BABYBEARD will be going on a European tour planned for January 2026. The trio has already been to Europe several times for various performances, such as Polymanga and MEX Berlin, but a European tour has not yet materialised until now.BABYBEARD’s first European tour is titled Pure Japanese Metal Craziness Europe Tour and consists of seven shows, six of which have already been confirmed. One more show is planned to be held in Italy, but the exact date and location are yet to be announced.

With the slogan ‘An Adorable Assault to the Senses’, the trio was presented to the public for the first time in 2021. The idol group was started around pro wrestler, cross-dresser, and metal singer Ladybeard and complemented by two girls, all dressed in cute, colourful dresses with puffed sleeves and bows. Currently, the group consists of Ladybeard, Suzu, trainee Mizuki, and support group member Mina, who sometimes fills in when Mizuki is absent. Shortly after BABYBEARD’s debut, AVO Magazine had the opportunity to interview BABYBEARD, discussing Ladybeard’s background as well as the start of BABYBEARD.

They were soon performing at Japan-related events all over the world. Meanwhile, the idol group has released several singles, including Nippon Kara Konnichiwa, Piennizer, and Macho, as well as the EP Twisted Kaiju Tale. The trio is currently working on their debut album, with Swedish musician and music producer Endigo announced as the composer and producer.

BABYBEARD European Tour 2026 Dates

Thursday 15 January, 2026: On The Rocks – Helsinki, Finland
Saturday 17 January, 2026: FGO Barbara – Paris, France
Sunday 18 January, 2026: Downstairs at the Dome – London, United Kingdom
Tuesday 20 January, 2026: Bitterzoet – Amsterdam, Netherlands
Wednesday 21 January, 2026: Yuca Club – Cologne, Germany
Friday 23 January, 2026: BETTY – Hamburg, Germany

The attentive reader may have already noticed that most of the tour dates were originally announced for rock band ASH DA HERO’s first European tour. Given that this European tour has been postponed for them, it seems that the three members of BABYBEARD have stepped in to help so that the booked dates did not have to be cancelled. Ticket sales started on Friday 24 October.
