After more than two years, art punk rock band TsuShiMaMiRe will return to Europe in October for a nine-show tour. The tour, entitled Ice Cream Punk Tour, will kick off in Denmark and pass through Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and France. The tour finale will take place at the Reitschule Festival in Switzerland. But before that, the trio will first head to North America for an extensive tour in August and September.
In the more than two years that TsuShiMaMiRe did not perform in Europe, the Japanese band released a lot of new music. For example, the album バンドは水物 (MIZUMONO) was released to celebrate the band’s 25th anniversary, which was later released on cassette tape by Gerpfast Records. In addition, several live albums were released, including LIVE IN GERMANY, Live at Zebulon, LA and LIVE IN TOKYO 2024 -MIZUMONO-.
The band recently released the single GIRAGIRA HIKARU, the first release with drummer Asami, who has taken the place of Maiko Takagi. Takagi left the band last November after eight years behind the drums for TsuShiMaMiRe. Furthermore, TsuShiMaMiRe will release a special vinyl edition of their upcoming performance at Purple Bee in Texas. This performance will take place in August and can also be viewed live on YouTube.
