Rock singer HYDE, known as the frontman of L’Arc-en-Ciel and VAMPS, will soon embark on his most ambitious world tour yet. The tour, under the title [INSIDE], consists of 24 shows in 16 cities, and Europe is part of it. Surprisingly, the Netherlands is also on the agenda.
From 21 June, he kicks off the world tour in home country Japan, with a series of concerts. He will then travel to South America for performances in Mexico, Chile, Argentina and Brazil. In November, HYDE will perform on the European continent for the first time in 10 years. He was previously in Europe with his project VAMPS, in 2015, but it will be his first tour in Europe as a solo musician. In Europe, he will perform in France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Sweden. Somewhere in between, he will also perform a show in Asia, but this has not been announced at the time of writing.
HYDE is considered one of Japan’s most productive rock artists, with more than 300 songs under his belt, solo and with L’Arc-en-Ciel, VAMPS, and supergroup THE LAST ROCKSTARS. He has also had the opportunity of performing 16 times at a sold-out Tokyo Dome, sold more than 40 million albums, and topped the Oricon charts with 25 songs. Over the years, he has also collaborated with many national and international artists. Recently, HYDE collaborated with Cö shu Nie for the opening theme song of the anime series Black Butler -Emerald Witch Arc-.
In the 1990s, his band L’Arc-en-Ciel became known for being the first Japanese act to sell out New York’s Madison Square Garden, but was also the first rock band to be allowed to perform at Japan National Stadium in Tokyo. After its successful tour of the United States, in November 2024, HYDE will travel the world with its [INSIDE] tour, named after its most recent album.
