March has begun, so it’s time to take a look at what’s happening in club VERSE on the upcoming Fridays. For the next four Fridays, on 7, 14, 21, and 28 March, there will be performances by Japanese virtual musicians on the virtual island called VERSE CITY in VRChat.

After several months of performances and adjustments, organiser and world builder loy continues to work on growing and refining club VERSE. Improvements have been made recently based on feedback and it seems the number of regular visitors and livestream viewers continues to grow.

A special highlight this month is White Day Verse on 14 March, a special edition celebrating the Japanese counterpart of Valentine’s Day. It will also feature two guest performers on club VERSE’s virtual stage, namely Mayu Shibuki and Sakusu Mayo. What else is on the programme? You can read about it below!

What is club VERSE?

Club VERSE is best described as a combination of a livehouse and a club, where you can attend performances but also relax in the bar with a drink or a game. It is part of ALLVERSE World, a virtual world that opened in 2021; the opening of club VERSE on 25 October 2024 coincided with the second anniversary of ALLVERSE World. After you arrive at the world in VRChat, you will immediately see how the world is designed. In fact, the club is in the middle of a city on an island named VERSE CITY.

At least four weeks each month will be scheduled with performances by a diversity of virtual musicians, mainly from Japan. The schedule may change due to circumstances, so it is good to know that the most up-to-date information can be found on the organiser’s social media account, loy.

The performers in March 2025

Read below who will be performing in March and at the bottom of the article there is more information on how to attend club VERSE. The list is in the order in which they first appear on the virtual stage this month.

ろい [loy]

Virtual rock singer-songwriter loy is the creator and builder of club VERSE, so it is only natural that he will be on stage at club VERSE on a regular basis. This month, he will be opening the evenings of club VERSE. Last year, the musician released his first full-length album, titled einst-アインスト-, which can also be seen as a best-of album at the same time. In the meantime, he also has been working on the l’avenir cover compilation album. 16 virtual artists participated in this compilation, each with their version of the song l’avenir, originally produced by loy. This album was released to celebrate the third anniversary of the release of the original song. In between all the hustle and bustle, loy is also involved in VTV, a virtual TV programme introducing virtual artists, and is part of the music unit L∞Y with virtual singer Lily Kanon.
