After successful European tours the previous two years, female metalcore band HANABIE. will be back in Europe this summer for another set of festival shows and a headlining concert tour! In contrast to previous two years they will not only visit Europe for various festivals in July and August but they will also be performing several headlining concerts starting on the 31st of October in the United Kingdom and ending with Spain on the 30th of November. Although most of their concerts this year are in countries they’ve visited before, they will be branching out within British Isles by visiting Northern-Ireland, Ireland & Scotland!

While HANABIE. is known for their blend of cute vocals, metalcore sound and a striking visual look with their Harajuku fashion style their latest single おいしいサバイバー (Tasty Survivor) feels a bit more cutesy, since it got featured as the opening theme for the recent anime Momentary Lily. The show tells the story of a group of girls alternating between fighting to survive in a world where robots wiped out humanity and their daily lives where they enjoy eating tasty food which provides a similar contrast between action and cute moments to HANABIE. their music.

For fans of their heavier vocals they also released the song いとをかしMyType (Ito Okashi MyType) earlier in December where they sing about the 16 personality types featured in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator that has been quite popular in recent years for people to define the aspects of their personality in a specific type. Aside from the message of the song you can also enjoy some gorgeous visuals in the form of their outfits and the scenery used in the music video.

Even though HANABIE. is focusing a bit more on concerts this year they haven’t forgotten about festival fans either since they have been spotted in the line-ups for various festivals such as: Dynamo Metalfest in the Netherlands, Open Air Gränichen in Germany and Brutal Assault Czechia. So no matter if you feel like seeing them during a festival this August or in a concert venue this November, 2025 is the opportunity to see them live!
