November gets off to a good start for European fans of Kruelty, the hardcore punk and death doom band has just completed their tour of North America with the US death metal band Undeath and is about to kick off a European tour with British death metal band Celestial Sanctuary and fellow British death/doom metal band Slimelord. The tour kicks off in the United Kingdom, with a total of 11 shows, and then the bands (except Celestial Sanctuary) head to Germany, the Netherlands and France, where it will conclude in Paris.

The three-piece band from Tokyo has been active since the summer of 2017, has had several line-up changes and has released quite a few EPs, splits and demos. Kruelty’s upcoming release is scheduled for release on 22 November via Closed Casket Activities, a 12’ EP titled Profane Usurpation.

Musically, the band is heavily influenced by Japanese and American hardcore and death metal bands, such as All Out War, No Retreat, Second to None, Asphyx and Coffins, as well as Finnish death metal bands, such as Rippikoulu ten Convulse. In their own words, the band describes their music as ‘disgusting’. They have just completed their tour of North America with Undeath.
