Dance and vocal group Atarashii Gakko!, better known in Japan as Atarashii Gakkou no Leaders, will tour the world for the first time and will not skip Europe. It was already announced that they would perform at the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona, on the first day of June, but some additional European dates have been added so it is now labelled as a tour, with shows in Barcelona, Brussels, Paris, Cologne, Berlin, London and the tour final in Amsterdam. Ticket sales started today.

Before they will tour through Europe in June, they will be at Coachella and Head in the Clouds in the United States – although these performances are not part of the world tour. After their 7 stops in Europe, they will be touring through Asia directly after. Since these tour dates are presented as part 1 of their world tour, it may soon become clear what the second part will consist of.

Consisting of Mizyu, Suzuka, Kanon and Rin, this Japanese power group embodies a new wave of Japanese youth, “seishun” in Japanese, championing individual expression and challenging conventional norms while singing and dancing in sailor uniforms. Formed in 2015, they made their international debut under the American music company 88rising in January 2021, followed by the release of their EP 一時帰国 (ICHIJIKIKOKU). With a mission to break through genre barriers, their music blends elements of pop, jazz, hip-hop, and rock, as showcased in singles like オトナブルー (Otona Blue) and Giri Giri. Their striking choreography and direction of their songs are all created and composed by the members themselves.
