A black and white photograph of the rock musician DURAN seated on the floor against a textured wall. The musician's attire consists of a tie-dyed shirt and he is holding a guitar by his side. The specific details of DURAN's expression are obscured by shadows and his curly hair.

Last summer, singer-songwriter and guitarist DURAN was in Europe for some shows, mainly in France, and it clearly tasted like more. After releasing his new album Electric Man in November, the rock musician went on a tour through Japan under the title The Venomous Rift in Humanity Tour. In January, he will be back in France for a five-day tour.

The contemporary rock musician was born in Japan to a Spanish-Filipino father and a Japanese mother and grew up in the Philippines. He started playing music at a young age under his father’s influence.

DURAN’s journey as a solo artist began about five years ago, but his musical footprint reaches far. He has been active in numerous bands, such as ROOTLESS, Made in Asia and A Flood Of Circle, and collaborated with prominent figures as Koshi Inaba (B’z), Kiyoharu and EXILE ATSUSHI and this is no different during his solo career. In spring 2024, the rock artist will release a blues-oriented album titled 30 Scratchy Backroad Blues.
