Besides being multi-instrumentalist Yuko Araki is active in Kuunatic, which toured Europe just last summer, she is also active solo and at the end of October she will release a new album through Australian label Room40, titled IV. With this new album in her pocket, she will tour Europe in November. The tour will consist of 14 shows in seven countries.

Yuko Araki started playing the piano as a child and later when she was a teenager she got inspired by hardcore and metal music that she heard in her hometown rehearsal studios. Soon became eclectic and took on a diverse range of projects, including drummer of the oriental/tribal dream psych band Kuunatic, a founding member of the Neoclassical noise duo Concierto de la Familia and her own solo project: harsh noise drones layered by analogue synthesisers, cymbals and samples of Japanese traditional instruments creating abstract rhythms and dissonant harmonies that sound like a noise orchestra. About her upcoming album, Araki is said to present a more crushing sound world compared to her End Of Trilogy release from 2021.
