Matsumoto Zoku Band will return to Europe for a summer tour with performances at various festivals. The European tour kicks off in Italy on 8 July and the four-piece will visit six countries.

Originally started as a duo in 2013, this band has since transformed into a quartet since 2022, consisting of Reo Matsumoto (handpan, beat box and percussion), Koji Matsumoto (handpan, didgeridoo), guitarist Kenta Hayashi and bassist Nory. The Matsumoto Zoku Band can be best described as an organic instrumental quartet that performs dance music with a psychedelic slant, moving between musical genres such as dance, psytrance, hip-hop, rock, funk and ambient.

Since their formation, Matsumoto Zoku Band performed in 31 cities in 14 different countries, meanwhile they have performed six times at the Hungarian O.Z.O.R.A. Festival, making them now resident artists. Individually, the band members all have a lot of experience as musicians in other music projects, which they put back into the music of the Matsumoto Zoku Band, precisely inspiring people with the various approaches and instruments they bring with them. To date, the band has released several albums while still active as a duo, including Matsumoto Zoku and Matsumoto Zoku II and an EP Ho-High.
