Doki Doki Deutschland: 2& (DOUBLE AND) and Yurapico are going to Bremen and Cologne for shows

If you have no plans in the weekend of 15 and 16 July, don’t mind travelling a bit, have an interest in Japanese idol culture and want to support independent idol musicians, you should head for Germany. 2& (DOUBLE AND), who has already had the honour of performing several times in the UK, will bring Yurapico with her for two gigs in Bremen and Cologne under the slogan of Doki Doki Deutschland.

Behind 2& (DOUBLE AND) is musician Saki Chitose. She is very well known for her energetic performances where she displays carefully orchestrated dance sequences on stage combined with her vocal ferocity. After the alt idol group called Guso Drop disbanded, she concentrated on releasing new music as 2& (Double And). After releasing several releases, besides performing in Japan, she has been allowed to perform in the UK with groups like NECRONOMIDOL and The Screaming Sixties in 2018 and a year later as one of the headliners of the Indie, Idol and Infamous tour.

Yurapico, written in Japanese as ゆらぴこ, also is active in the idol group APOKALIPPPS and maybe more known for her activities in idol groups Guso Drop and BURST GIRL, started her solo activities in the past year. In February of this, she started a tour in Japan where she wants to perform in all 47 prefectures. The tour is titled #YuraSmile Magic Tour, where her mission is to spread the magic of smiles, which is a reference to her first album which was released on 15 February.

In addition to the two shows, the organisation behind this tour, German Idol Society, has organised an OFF-KAI, now sold out, with a special performance, talk and other activities to celebrate the two solo artists being in Germany. For the shows in Bremen and Cologne, it is also possible to buy a VIP upgrade where you can buy into the venue earlier, get a poster with autographs, a cheki photo with the two idols and yourself with some buttons to make it complete.
