Dutch metal festival Into The Grave took place in the second weekend of June, but organisers have ensured that fans can already look forward to the 2024 edition. Into The Grave’s four first names for next year’s festival have been announced, including metalcore band Crystal Lake. It will be the band’s first European appearance since 2019. That year they were touring in the summer and in the autumn they were part of Impericon’s Never Say Die! tour as headliner.
In the meantime, the band has not standing still and has undergone some changes. Vocalist Ryo Kinoshita left in September 2022 and after a search, the metal band has chosen former The Last Ten Seconds Of Life vocalist John Robert Centorrino as their new frontman. The new era for Crystal Lake kicked off with several gigs in Japan and continues with the release of a new double-A single. Two new songs, Denial and Rebirth, will be released on 23 June, with a music video recently made for the former. What else Crystal Lake has planned for Europe in 2024 remains to be seen.
Following the announcement of the first names for Into The Grave 2024 – besides Crystal Lake, bands Nanowar of Steel, Hellripper, Bütcher have been announced – early bird ticket sales started and sold out within days. This means that regular weekend tickets have now gone on pre-sale.
