Meigum – Experimental Colourful Gummy – Simple
Price: ± €5
Extra supplies: Plate.
Colourful gummy candies, and it’s up to you which colours they are, that’s what you can create with this kit from Meigum. The packaging contains a mould, a spoon, three bags of powder and a bowl to mix in. The only thing you need to add is a bit of water.
Flavour: ♥
Each candy had a different flavour, and strength of flavour, because of the composition and combinations of powders. The textures were also very different.
Most of the candies had very little flavour to them, apart from the pink one. That one was a bit sour and had sort of a red fruit flavour to it. The texture of the pink candy was a bit grainy.
The green and light blue candies had little flavour to them and had a bit of a slimey texture, while the darker blue and purple had more of a gummy texture.
The flavours were supposed to be peach and grape, but I couldn’t recognize these specific flavours.
Time needed: ⧗
This kit doesn’t take a lot of time and there is practically no waiting time either.
Difficulty level: ★
There are very few steps and this kit is easy to make, the colours are up to you because you can mix them together.
Similarity: 📷
As you can see on the pictures below, the final product doesn’t look similar to the picture on the packaging. The colours are right, but they don’t hold their shape and on the packaging they seem a lot more like hard candy.
Want to enjoy this kit again?
Clean the mould with warm water, after using it, and let it air dry.
You could fill the moulds with chocolate or gummy mixture, but you could also fill it with something like fondant or kneadable candy.
This is not a sponsored review and because of this we won’t mention where this set was bought, search online using the name of this candy kit and you should be able to find it.
