Punk rock band Otoboke Beaver’s upcoming European tour gets rescheduled to 2023 apart from the appearances at the summer festivals, such as Primavera Festival, Les Eurockeenes, and Pohoda Festival. This means that the club shows will be pushed to 2023.
The band shared the following message about it: “We know how tired everyone is of seeing these kinds of announcements. Having postponed our March North American tour dates to later in the year, we sadly will be postponing our upcoming club shows in Europe and UK to May 2023. We had hoped we would be ready to do these shows, but unfortunately with the rate of coronavirus infections still so high, we are not able to financially and logistically manage the risks of having to pause the tour if any band or crew member were to experience symptoms or test positive while on the road. We would have loved to reschedule the dates for this year, but the rest of the year is already reserved for artists who have also previously had to reschedule their tours. We are very sorry and disappointed ourselves, but we promise we will unleash maximum chaos when we do finally meet”.
The new dates have been announced and it is expected that more shows will be added to their SUPER CHAMPON 2023 Tour. Tickets remain valid for the rescheduled dates, though refunds are also available from the point of purchase. The four-piece shared the meaning for the tour title which is also the title for their upcoming album, ‘champon’ is a Japanese noun meaning a mixture or jumble of things of a different type.
