The Osaka-based dark witch doom noise duo BlackLab had to wait two years to make their first overseas appearance, but the time has finally come. Coming Friday 29 April, they will perform at Desertfest London.

Originally, they were planning to perform at this festival in 2020, but due to the pandemic, this plan was scrapped. In addition to this performance at Deserfest London 2022, they will have another show scheduled in London on Monday 2 May at the Victoria (Dalston) before they will return back to Japan. This show is free to attend and BlackLab will share the stage with London-based metal duo Black Shape and blackened sludge metal/doom metal/noise band Wallowing from Brighton.

The duo will release their third album coming summer and as a warming-up, they released the single Abyss Woods, a dark and doomy song that can be purchased through Bandcamp for the price that you want to pay.

Still from INDIVIDUAL ELEVENS's music video for the song "PERFECT THRUST". A nighttime cyberpunk cityscape, featuring a futuristic skyline enveloped in a layer of mist. The sky is a dark purple and the buildings are adorned with vibrant neon lights and digital advertising billboards. The music video is created by Kihiro over a period of four months in Blender and AfterEffects.
