Tokyo-based garage rock trio The 5.6.7.8’s will be touring the United Kingdom coming April and on this short and sweet tour, they will bring the London-based band The Masonics with them.
Active since 1986 and influenced by multiple genres of American music, including rock ‘n’ roll and rockabilly, the trio has made quite a name. The 5.6.7.8’s appeared in the 2003 Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill which was evidently their big introduction to the audience in the west. In addition, their music has also been used in other films, games and other soundtracks. Despite changing line-ups several times in their career, initially as a quartet but since 1992 as a trio, the garage rock band is still going strong, touring in Japan and beyond such as China, Australia and the United States.
