Slowly but surely it seems that is it possible to plan tours for musicians and for Kikagaku Moyo (幾何学模様) that was enough reason to do this as well. The psychedelic rock band shared the happy news that they will be back on the European road again this summer after being unable for a while due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Shows are planned in Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom, some are club shows and others are live performances at festivals.

The band name Kikagaku Moyo stands for geometric patterns. Although the band describes their music as ‘feeling good music’, the band can be seen as a psychedelic band. Their music incorporates elements of classical Indian music, Krautrock, Traditional Folk, and 70s Rock. Kikagaku Moyo started in the summer of 2012 by drummer/vocalist Go Kurosawa and guitarist/vocalist Tomo Katsurada and they have been busking on the streets of Tokyo. The psychedelic band is part of Guruguru Brain, their own label, of which the home base is in Amsterdam.

The latest release of Kikagaku Moyo was the live EP Deep Fried Grandeur with Ryley Walker, recorded during the performance at Le Guess Who? Festival in 2018.
