Shonen Knife have announced that they will return to the United Kingdom this Autumn to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the pop-punk band. The UK tour will start at the end of September and consists of 17 tour dates from shows in Cambridge, Leeds, Manchester to London (to name a few).

Last week, the band had a special Cyber Show that was streamed live for a worldwide audience. The stream can still be viewed for a few extra days. Shonen Knife shared a video of the opening of their show to give an idea of what you can expect from the live performance, the first show of Shonen Knife that was streamed live.
Formed in December 1981 in Osaka, Shonen Knife have been touring around the world several times and can be seen as the darling of all the Japanese bands who tours the world from time to time. The music this band makes can be best described as bubblegum punk which surely brings you good vibes.
