Instrumental rock band MONO will move their European tour, planned for March 2021, to the next year, February 2022. The reason to postpone the tour is due to the ongoing pandemic.
The tour in 2022 will start in Norway on the 10th of February and will end on the 9th of March in the United Kingdom. MONO will tour through 11 countries. More information can be found on the website of MONO.
There was also a special guest invited for this year’s European tour, namely A.A. Williams. The good news is that the cellist, pianist, guitarist and singer-songwriter will be present in 2022 as a special guest.
Also good to know is that MONO was confirmed for Hellfest Open Air 2021 in France and ArcTanGent Festival in the United Kingdom for the summer of 2021. Both events were postponed events from 2020.
There was also good news from the instrumental rock band. To celebrate MONO’s 20-year anniversary in 2019, the band held an anniversary show in London with an orchestra in the last month of 2019. The show was recorded and will be released as a live album. The album is set to be released on 19 March on vinyl and CD via Temporary Residence Ltd., Pelagic Records and New Noise titled Beyond the Past • Live in London with the Platinum Anniversary Orchestra. The 2-hour performance features the National Youth String Orchestra and special guests, Jo Quail and A.A. Williams. It will also be released on all digital platforms.
