2020 Compilation: 7 New Music Videos You Need To Check Out
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on RedditShare on Tumblr

Even though this project only started in the summer of 2020 and not at the start of the new year – after so many weeks of presenting new music videos of lesser-known bands – it still makes for a nice collection. It also gives a bit of insight in what has come out in the indie circuit in particular and that in overall the level is quite high.

There’s a bit of its own twist to this collection, as the choices have been made by the music writers with their own vision and taste. As a result, there are still some divergences from the trending names. This means that there has also been a particular focus on lesser-known names from the indie music world that have not previously been mentioned on AVO Magazine. As a result, the introductions linked to the videos also felt much more logical, as they were literally introduced on the website.

Time to set up the 2020 compilation, consisting of 180+ music videos. The year 2020 consisted of 53 weeks and therefore took a number of tracks from the new year. It is what it is, but the hope is that this does not detract from enjoying this compilation. Click on play and start enjoying!

In case you are interested in the story behind the bands, click here to call up all the weekly articles. It is a good way to enjoy a good part of 2020 in Japanese music! Next Sunday we will start with the first 7 music videos in a row for 2021.
