The four ladies from SCANDAL announced that they had to cancel the Japanese shows that are part of their World Tour 2020 because of the current situation of COVID-19 and to prevent its spread. The tour was originally scheduled for April and May to promote their latest album Kiss from the darkness and would be moved to a later date.
To ease the pain for the cancellation, SCANDAL announced a special live stream planned for 21 August 2020 to celebrate their 14th anniversary. To be able to watch this special live stream, you have to register for a ticket. Information about how foreign fans can buy this ticket, can be found here.
What will happen with the shows that are planned outside Japan, is unknown. The quartet was planned to perform in France, the United Kingdom and Germany in September. Since the current situation is uncertain, it is understandable that the band wait to decide what they will do with these shows. Furthermore, SCANDAL planned for shows in the United States and Canada, later in September. For now, these shows will go through as planned until it will be stated otherwise.
SCANDAL furthermore stated that they will be kicking off a special tour as they are on the way towards their 15th anniversary.
