Visual Kei band ACME (アクメ) is currently in the United States for their first West Coast tour. After their first show of this tour, in Seattle on 5th of January, the tour van and trailer of the band got broken into. Some of the equipment and most of the merchandise has been stolen. In addition, major damage was left behind on the tour bus. A big blow for the band that just started the tour on the West Coast of the United States.

A GoFundMe has been created to facilitate the continuation of the tour. Fans came in large numbers, as the target amount of $5,000 (about €4,500) was raised in one day.

And for the icing on the cake, the Visual Kei band has arranged to sell a special t-shirt named with the hashtag #UNBREAKABLEACME as a nod to everything that has happened. The merchandise is limited, as the new merchandise was made in a short time. ACME will continue the tour as planned on Thursday the 9th of January.

ACME are happy to come to the United States since their first performance in 2019 at Anime Milwaukee 2019 as they returned to the United States later in the Summer for a couple of performances. They are already confirmed for a performance later in 2020 at the American event Kumoricon. The band was formed in 2017 by ex-DIV singer CHISA, guitarist SHOGO, bassist RIKITO and ex-ARTEMA drummer HAL. The concept of the band is delinquent boys from another world. Soon they will release an album called WE ARE VISUALKEI, which should be an indie best-of album and a new single in March.
