Kurumi Kadoya announced a European tour for October. During her short tour, she will perform in Switzerland, Germany, The Netherlands and Norway.
“I am Japanoise from Japan,” this is how she introduces herself to the outside world. It is maybe a good description of the musician and her music, but there is more to Kurumi Kadoya. She represents the younger generation of electronic music artists in Osaka, her hometown, and Kyoto. She is known for creating beautiful and colourful noise with her strange synth called Drift Box. Earlier this year she graduated from art college in Kyoto and released her first album, titled nousinntou.
Kurumi Kadoya is also part of the anarchic duo HYPER GAL from the ancient city of Kyoto, according to many it is the birthplace of Japanese alternative music.
The show at Worm in Rotterdam is a show with Kurumi Kadoya and Boterklontje, a feminist noise trio from Rotterdam. To enjoy the show full of noise, you only have to pay €5,00.
