With a photo in a single tweet, without any accompanying text, the band THE RODEOS announced that they are going to Europe for a tour. The tour will take place in June, but where they will perform has not been announced yet. Although on Facebook they said something more about their upcoming European tour, the band still didn’t haven’t given any specifics about their tour in June.
World music meets Punk rock is how THE RODEOS describe their music. Started in 2009, the band got their experience and notoriety by performing street gigs in front of the Kichijoji station in Tokyo. The band take inspiration from Latin, Celtic Punk, Country, Ska, Reggae, Russian Folk, and Balkan while centring on the punk music which is the roots of the band. It is not the first time for THE RODEOS that they tour in Europe, in 2016 they performed a series of shows in Spain. In 2018 they performed for the first time at Japan’s largest rock event Fuji Rock Festival and toured South Korea in that same year. THE RODEOS consists of six band members with instruments as acoustic and electric guitar, accordion, mandolin, banjo, double bass and drums.
