After a successful second edition of Dynamiccon in 2018, the organisation decided to organise smaller events from now on, instead of a big event, as we were used to from Dynamiccon. These smaller events will take place throughout the year. The events will not only focus on cosplay, comics and anime. After organising the signing session of Marissa Meyer in 2018, the organisation got the taste to do more with it.
The first event that the organisation has planned fits in the anime category: Anime Sunday, an afternoon where you can bingewatch an anime series in one go. This time the Mainstage of Dynamo is transformed into a cinema where you can watch a full season of a series while enjoying a drink and popcorn (sweet or salty).
Btooom!
The first edition takes place on Sunday 7 April with anime series Btooom! in the spotlight. The doors are open for the audience from 11.00 in the morning. From that time you can settle down for the series that will start at 11:30. There will be breaks between episodes.
Btooom! is a series of 12 episodes. youta Sakamoto is an unemployed 22-year-old who lives with his mother and spends his days playing video games. His only real achievement is that he is the best player in Japan in the popular online video game Btooom !. One day he wakes up on a tropical island, but has no idea how and why he ended up on it. In his left hand is a green crystal embedded and then Ryouta finds out that someone has decided to play his favourite game Btooom! to create in real life. But where he is digitally strong, real life works differently.
Tickets
The ticket price online is € 10 (this includes service costs, a drink and + popcorn) and if you decide to go at the last minute, then a ticket is € 12 (including drink and popcorn). Dynamo can be found at Catharinaplein 21, right in the centre of Eindhoven. It is a 10-minute walk from Eindhoven Central Station.
