Pop-punk trio Shonen Knife just finished of the recording of their upcoming album and does want to let the world to know that they will release a new album full with new tracks. To promote that upcoming album Sweet Candy Power, the trio released a music video, titled I Feel Dizzy. Sweet Candy Power will be the first album since 2016 when they released the album Adventures.
I Feel Dizzy is a catchy song with lyrics that invite you to sing along. The video has been filmed at the music club, in the hometown of Shonen Knife, Osaka, where the trio often performs at. The ladies smile on stage, clapping their hands and dancing, while singing I Feel Dizzy on repeat in the refrain. The result is another cute song that should get stuck in your head after just listening one time. It shouldn’t be different from the other songs Shonen Knife have delivered in the past. I Feel Dizzy is contagious in a very good way, it should put a smile on your face.
The music video is straightforward and nothing more is needed for the song, as it would only be overwhelming. The dance choreography, that Shonen Knife show off in the music video, can be easily imitated by the audience during the live shows. Talking about that, the group will tour Europe very soon. Time to practice!
Sweet Candy Power will be released worldwide on 5 June 2019 on Good Charamel Records (USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe), Valve Records (Australia and New Zealand) and P-Vine (Japan).
