A few months ago the brutal orchestra Vampillia performed in Europe, with shows at for example Roadburn 2018. Coming September and October Vampillia will be supporting the French post-metal band Alcest during their European tour.
Alcest says the following about the upcoming tour: “We are glad to announce a special “Full Kodama“ European tour with our Japanese friends Vampillia as support. We will play a long set consisting of our “Kodama“ album played in its entirety plus a selection of additional songs from our previous records.” The European tour will start in France and ends up in The Netherlands.
Before touring in Europe, Vampillia will tour with the Norwegian metal band Enslaved in Japan. In May the group released an EP, titles Happiness Brought By Endless Sorrow.
