Horadekita! – Chocolate Banana – Simple
Price: ± €3
Extra supplies: None*
* You don’t need any extra supplies for this kit, but some extra cocktail picks could be useful if you want to put each candy on a cocktail pick.
With this kit you decorate some little banana candies. It includes a chocolate sauce, sprinkles and six banana candies.

Flavour: ♥
The banana candies, which are the most dominant flavour when you combine all of the elements, tasted like artificial banana. At first they’re a bit firm and hard to chew, but after this they soften and get a texture similar to chewing gum.
As expected the sprinkles mainly tasted like sugar and had a crunchy texture to them. The chocolate sauce tasted like chocolate, but the flavour was a little less strong than I’d expected and it was creamier.
Time needed: ⧗
This kit doesn’t take very long to complete, I think it took less than three minutes to dip and decorate all of the banana candies.
Difficulty level: ★
There are only two steps to completing this kit, which is to dip the banana candies in chocolate sauce and then in sprinkles. It’s a very simple kit.
Similarity: ?
As you can see on the pictures below, the final product doesn’t quite look like you’d expect. The banana candies are misshapen and the colours of the sprinkles are not as vibrant as you’d expect from the packaging. The chocolate sauce was thicker than you’d expect, it didn’t drip down or smooth out at all. The package also didn’t contain enough cocktail picks to put all the banana candies on their own cocktail pick, which was implied by the packaging.
Want to enjoy this kit again?
Clean the container with warm water, after using it, and let it air dry.
If you want to reuse the container you could fill it with chocolate sauce, sprinkles and some banana candies. You don’t need the container for this though, so you could throw it out and make similar candies regardless.
