To celebrate the joy of the Japanese culture and the opening of IBASHO’s newly installed, IBASHO will open her doors on 5 and 6 August 2017. The gallery has asked the local addresses for Japanese products to join forces with IBASHO and to present a Japanese Market on Saturday, August 5, the day of the Museum Night in Antwerp.
The exhibition Female Force from Japan can be viewed and visitors can browse in IBASHO’s bookshop that has now been finalised. On the occasion of the official opening of the bookshop, a discount of 10% on all books will be given during that weekend. IBASHO will be open on Sunday, August 6, as well from 14:00 – 18:00. During the Japan Market, you are able to taste and buy sake, ceramics, but also sushi, yakitori and Japanese beers and teas.
IBASHO gallery can be found at the Tolstraat 67 in Antwerp and has free entrance. During the Summer period, the gallery will be open by appointment until September 6, 2017. After that date, a new exhibition will start.
