After stopping the Visual Kei band Amber Gris, guitarist Kaname decided to start his own band: Sioux. Together with guitarists Soa and Ciela, drummer YACHIRU and ex-THOMAS drummer Lotto the band started in August. In October the maxi single Hue was released and the band also started with performances. In April the next release is planned: a single called Last Scene. A promotional music video came out a few days ago.
Last Scene will start small with a nice interplay of guitars. Meanwhile, you see in the video the band members put a blanket around them, I understand that… the start of the song creates goosebumps. After the atmosphere is set in 45 seconds, the singer seems to jump into the song by making the song bigger with his singing. There is immediately life in the song.
The colour is almost pulled away from the images of the video, this creates peace and mystery while the band members are looking for something. The video takes place in a wooded area and a cave, which greatly reinforces the mysteriousness of the video. Last Scene is a ballad which from the half of the song is a bit messy in the audience, through the overflow of various additions of styles and speeds in the music. Put together, it is a beautiful song of almost five minutes in which the voice of Kaname and the instruments make a good collaboration.
