While Satsuki was on his way to Vienna for a show that is part of his European tour “Squall of Emotions”, he answered a few questions we asked him through email.
The tour started last week in France and this weekend he will be performing in the Netherlands and Belgium.

AVO Blog: Your European tour, consisting of 12 concerts, has just started. It’s not the first time you’ve been on tour in Europe, the last time was in 2013. What is it that attracts you the most in Europe?
砂月-SATSUKI-: I love the view of the European cities. And I love Europe’s atmosphere.

AVO Blog: Is there anything that you are looking forward to in Europe?
砂月-SATSUKI-: I always look forward to sing for my dear fans in Europe.

AVO Blog: The tour will end shortly before Christmas, you’ve probably have noticed the Christmas ‘s decorations, you regret the fact that you don’t have a Christmas show in Europe?
砂月 -SATSUKI-: Yes, it’s indeed unfortunate. And I’ve seen Christmas decorations indeed!

AVO Blog: While you’re in the car on the way to the next show, which album or albums would you listen to, to make travelling more comfortable?
砂月 -SATSUKI-: I would listening to Hyde’s album, “Roentogen”.

AVO Blog: You have released an album with the start of the tour. Where it comes from the title “Squall of Emotions”?
砂月 -SATSUKI-: Squall is a heavy rainfall. I hope that when you finish listening to my songs, all emotions are falling heavily into our hearts. That’s why I chose this title.

AVO Blog: During 「SATSUKI EU Squall 2014 tour of Emotions」 you bring several supporting artists with you, including SANA, certainly not unknown, because he has already been a supporting artist on your tour before, and LEONA SHIUN. You are a solo artist, do you prefer to play solo or with a band?
砂月 -SATSUKI-: With a band. I love the band sound, I like the heavy sound.

AVO Blog: What’s your favorite song to perform?
砂月 -SATSUKI-: I have two of them, TWILIGHT and Lily- 月影に魅せられて -(Lily- tsukikage ni miserarete).

AVO Blog: What are the most important ideas you want to convey through your music or project as an artist?
砂月 -SATSUKI-: Emotions and lyrics.

AVO Blog: Most people know you as the vocalist of the band Rentrer en Soi that stopped in 2008 and the subsequent solo career. You are working for years in the Visual Kei scene. How do you look back at those years?
砂月 -SATSUKI-: It was busy, but I was able to grow up (improve/refine).

AVO Blog: What is the most important thing you’ve learned in those years? Life lesson?
砂月 -SATSUKI-: Faith.

AVO Blog: You’re also part of the project Moon Stream, with Tomo Asahi (echo stream). With this project you have performed regularly on conventions. How do you combine your solo career with other projects?
砂月 -SATSUKI-: Growing (improving) as a singer.

AVO Blog: There’s any plans for Moon Stream ‘s new release or performances in Europe?
砂月 -SATSUKI-: We’re currently working on recording new music!

AVO Blog: The year is almost over, do you have plans for the next year? Maybe things you’ve plan to do or New Year resolutions?
砂月 -SATSUKI-: I don’t have any new plans yet.

AVO Blog: We have reached the end of this interview. Do you have any message for the readers of the AVO Blog?
砂月 -SATSUKI-: Thanks for reading this. And please, keep supporting me!

I would like to thanks 砂月 -SATSUKI- for answering our questions, and I would like to thank Râmen Events and Demented Show for making this interview possible!
