With the European tour in sight for steampunk metal band FATE GEAR, on the last day of January, the news came that the band had to cancel two shows due to bad ticket sales. The two shows would take place in Spain, namely in Madrid and Barcelona. They would take place shortly after their performance at Brussels Comic Con.
It is very unfortunate to cancel shows of a European tour that will start in 2 weeks, but the ladies didn’t plan to sit still on the now free days as they have planned two new shows. Both shows will take place in Germany. One of the shows, Idra Club in Hamburg, is very interesting for FATE GEAR leader Mina, as this was the location of the first performance of The Beatles in Germany. Furthermore, FATE GEAR will perform in Düsseldorf on 25 February. Ticket sales of these shows, taking place on 26th and 26th of February, have already started.
During the upcoming European tour FATE GEAR will transform into X-FLIGHTS for a couple of shows at conventions and expositions for special performances with covers of Anime and geek series and movies.
In 2015 FATE GEAR was formed by the former member of the band Destrose, Mina and vocalist Nico Shizuka. The band line-up that will be named as crew consists furthermore of composer and arranger Kurumi, Yuri on keyboards, bassist Erika, and drummer Haruka. The band is completed with guest singers and sometimes a violinist. NANA, who is also the vocalist of the rock band REASTERISK, toured with FATE GEAR when they were in Europe in 2019. IBUKI (ex-Disqualia) joined the band for the performance at the first edition of Metal Matsuri in Londen. FATE GEAR released 3 albums and released at the beginning of this year the EP Headless Goddess.
