Following several announcements of performances at major European metal festivals, such as Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze and Reload Festival, the metal idol group Broken By The Scream have announced even more European dates for the coming summer.

The summer tour – which also marks their return to Europe following last summer’s tour – is titled Screaming Rebellion and comprises thirteen shows across nine countries. The idol group has also announced that they will be performing with a backing band, meaning Europe will get the full package, as was the case last year at Spain’s Resurrection Fest. The Netherlands certainly won’t be left out, as the four girls and their band will be performing at Bitterzoet in Amsterdam.

Formed in 2016, their music is described as the perfect balance of low growls, high screams and clean vocals. With the concept to combine screaming vocals with Japanese pop vocals, incorporating various elements such as metalcore and djent in the instrumental department, received a lot of attention internationally over the years. In 2022, Broken By The Scream made their major debut and released the album RISE into CHAOS on the label Tokuma Japan Communications. This release was followed up with a mini-album, Whitewater Park, in the summer of 2023.

After the departure of two members later in 2023, two new group members were added after auditions to complete the group. With the current line-up, an EP was released in September 2024, entitled ReMake Them Joy, which was followed up by their fourth full-length album, Solar Strain, in August 2025. This year, Broken By The Scream announced that they had signed with the metal label Metal Blade Records.
