Earlier this year, DEVILOOF’s first European tour was announced for November and a live performance at the Spanish festival Resurrection Fest in the summer. Fans of the visual kei metal band know that it has not been an easy road for the Japanese four-piece to finally organise a European tour in collaboration with a tour organisation. The upcoming tour in November will largely continue as planned, but some changes have been announced.
The show at the P60 in Amstelveen, scheduled for 30 November, has been cancelled. Instead, the band will perform in France, at Japan Touch in Lyon. The music venue headCRASH in Hamburg has changed its name to BETTY. So it’s good to know that this isn’t a new venue, but simply a name change.
According to Envol Production, the tour organisation behind DEVILOOF’s first European tour, the show in Amstelveen (bordering the city of Amsterdam) cannot take place due to unforeseen circumstances and the purchased tickets will be fully refunded. It was announced today that 30 November will not remain an empty slot in the tour schedule, as DEVILOOF will be heading to Lyon that day for a performance at Japan Touch.
The French post-black metal band Souf(f)re will be the support act for five shows on this upcoming tour, except for the shows in Helsinki, Warsaw and Lyon.
