After several performances at WACK in the UK, the eight-member alternative idol group ASP will tour outside Japan for the first time in September. The tour will take place in the United Kingdom and is aptly titled ASP in the UK Tour. At the time of writing, three shows are planned, namely in Bristol, Manchester, and London.
But there is much more planned for the group, as the ANTi SOCiETY PUNKS have plans for a special event and another performance in London. No details have been announced yet. Ticket sales for the UK tour have already started, and tickets are selling fast.
In total, ASP have performed at all six editions of WACK in the UK, making a strong impression with their intense performances and rebellious attitude. The group has been active since 2021 and has evolved from a punk rock sound and image to a broader sound with elements of hyperpop, electro, and rap, collaborating with MAXIM (The Prodigy) and Sam Matlock (WARGASM). In October 2024, ASP’s first major album was released via Avex, Terminal disease of ASP. In August, the group will release their fifth major single, BA-BY.
Currently consisting of YUMEKA NOWKANA?, NAMELESS (currently on hiatus), MOG RYAN, MATiLDER TWiNS, WONKER TWiNS, CCCCCC, RiONTOWN, and most recently joined iKO MUGENNOKANATA. Recently, the twins, MATiLDER TWiNS and WONKER TWiNS, were appointed as the faces of gothic and lolita fashion house Moi-même-Moitié’s latest collection.
