Last year, Stompin’ Riffraffs toured Austria, Germany, and the Netherlands. Now, nearly a year later, the four-piece returns to Europe for an extensive tour across Spain. The band has nine shows lined up, kicking off at FaCeLa Fest 2025 in Lugo, a city in the northwest of Spain.
Active since 2006, Stompin’ Riffraffs combine all elements of ‘50s rock’n’roll with early ‘60s garage punk. After releasing numerous albums and singles, the band has been part of the Los Angeles-based record label Wild Records since 2015 and has toured Japan, the United States and Europe. The four-piece consists of guitarist and vocalist Nao, and three masked ladies, named Saori on drums, Rie on bass and Miku on keyboard and theremin.
In April, the four-piece released a new 7-inch single via Wild Records, featuring on the a-side one of the band’s signature songs, She Bites, and on the B-side a boogie version of the track Heavy Sick, the original can be found on the previously released album BURNING (2021). The recording took place even before Wild Records’ studio went up in flames during the wildfires that raged in Los Angeles this year. As a result, this release is considered a special and cherished document.
Of their past tour in Europe in 2024, the band made a short documentary and shared it on their YouTube channel.
