March flew by and now that we are in April, it is once again time to check out what is planned at club VERSE. Every Friday, the virtual stage in VRChat opens for performances by Japanese virtual musicians.

Now that summertime has kicked in, there is now an hour less time difference between us and Japan, which may make it a little easier to attend Friday’s events at club VERSE, unless Friday is already your usual day off. The upcoming volumes of club VERSE are scheduled on 4, 11, 18 and 25 April.

We’re currently in the middle of spring, and in Japan, this season is symbolised by cherry blossoms. It’s no surprise that club VERSE is embracing this theme as well, with a special Sakura Verse event planned for 4 April. Another highlight for this month is the return of guest performer Sakusu Mayo, while previous guest performer Mayu Shibuki has become a regular performer at club VERSE from this month on.

What is club VERSE?

Club VERSE is best described as a combination of a livehouse and a club, where you can attend performances but also relax in the bar with a drink or a game. It is part of ALLVERSE World, a virtual world that opened in 2021; the opening of club VERSE on 25 October 2024 coincided with the second anniversary of ALLVERSE World. After you arrive at the world in VRChat, you will immediately see how the world is designed. In fact, the club is in the middle of a city on an island named VERSE CITY.

At least four weeks each month will be scheduled with performances by a diversity of virtual musicians, mainly from Japan. The schedule may change due to circumstances, so it is good to know that the most up-to-date information can be found on the organiser’s social media account, loy.

Club VERSE may be a virtual event, but you are also able to bring it into the real world with official merchandise. It all started with exclusive items sold during special editions of club VERSE, but now there’s also a wider range of merch featuring the club VERSE logo.

The performers in April 2025

Read below who will be performing in April and at the bottom of the article there is more information on how to attend club VERSE. The list is in the order in which they first appear on the weekly flyers, from left to right.

Virtual singer Tanaka Kisame is half shark, half human and was featured on the virtual stage of club VERSE for the first time in January of this year as a regular performer. He can swim 150 kilometres per hour and cross the Pacific Ocean, with the occasional chance of bumping into a moonfish. The musician has released a number of singles digitally, but his YouTube channel features many more original songs with their own video.
