The stage setting includes skulls, inverted crosses on the drum kit and candles placed around the area, adding to the atmospheric essence of the (black) metal genre. To celebrate 40th Anniversary of SABBAT, the Japanese black/thrash metal band will soon embark on a European tour, on which they will be joined by American Death Metal all-star band GRUESOME as a special guest. The tour, organised by Dragon Productions, consists of 19 shows, including several festivals, such as Pitfest, Obscene Extreme Festival, and Metal Magic Festival. Besides the European tour, the band will also tour Mexico and South America in October.

Formed in 1984 by vocalist and bass player Gezol, who is currently the only original member of SABBAT, they have played an important role in the development of the Japanese metal scene. Known for their raw, aggressive sound, the metal band presents a mixture of black and thrash metal, with elements of heavy metal and old-school death metal, which is often labelled as blacking metal.

They have been releasing music through various labels over the years, including Heavy Metal Super Star Records, Iron Pegasus Records, and through their own label, Evil Records, their discography contains more than 220 official releases. Their newest studio album, SABBATICULT, will be out at the start of their European tour. In addition, SABBAT and GRUESOME will release a limited edition 7″ split on the same date.

Still from the music video "さよなら、郷愁 (Sayonara, Kyoushuu)" by the alternative rock band Harmless. The still depicts a blooming hydrangea bush, showcasing vibrant purple flowers and the green leaves. These hydrangeas are the main focus of the scene and gives the idea that it was filmed with a camera with tape or a filter is used to give this idea. Interesting note: the original music video is posted in 360p.
