The first half of 2024 is almost over. However, singer-songwriter MION has not been sitting still at all in recent months and has been performing at Festiwal Remcon in Poland, Anime Focal in Luxembourg, Salón del Manga de Alicante in Spain, and also in the United Kingdom. Recently the singer-songwriter shared her plans for the month of June with performances confirmed in France, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom. MION will be returning to the French event Japan Manga Wave, but also will be performing at the German conventions Wie.MAI.KAI and DoKomi. In addition, she will be performing in Italy at the event Etna Comics and also Festival of Leisure in the United Kingdom.

Since 2022, the singer-songwriter has focused on shows in the UK, as she currently lives there, and for 2023, she planned to go further into Europe for performances which have proved a success with some 50 shows in 15 countries. The pop-rock musician has been active for more than 10 years and has released more than 10 solo singles, including the hit single Summer Magic, which reached No. 1 on the Oricon Singles Charts. With her extensive European tour in 2023, the musician was able to add many more countries and it looks like she will continue on the same footing in 2024.

MION’s current goal is to further develop as a singer-songwriter and promote Japanese culture in countries outside Japan. She also hopes to be a bridge for European and Japanese artists to collaborate.
