Volume 2 of “WACK in the UK” will include performances of GANG PARADE, ASP and KiSS KiSS

After the successful debut of the WACK in the UK event at The Underworld in London where the influential and at the same time notorious music agency WACK presented performances of ExWHYZ, ASP, and special unit AiNATOAOI (comprising of AiNA THE END and acclaimed dancer AOI YAMADA), it was announced that a second volume was already in the making.

This time the event will take place on Wednesday 27 March at the same location, The Underworld, with performances of GANG PARADE, ASP and the recently formed electronic group KiSS KiSS. Apart from ASP, they joined the first volume of WACK in the UK, all musical acts will make their debut in London for this event. In addition, KiSS KiSS will celebrate the group’s first anniversary at this event.

The ticket sale will start on Saturday 17 February. Tickets include general admission and VIP Tickets. The VIP Tickets include a light lunch with the musicians, cheki (polaroid photo) with the group of choice and one cheki with a member of choice (with autograph), an exclusive T-shirt, and early entry to the show.

The agency WACK, founded by Junnosuke Watanabe in 2014, is known for shaking up the Japanese music industry and rose to notoriety with BiS, labeled “the most disliked girl group in Japan” by VICE in an article in 2014. They broke up in 2014, ending with a show complete with an unlimited McDonald’s buffet, but they left a lasting impression with their sharp music videos and bold magazine shoots.

Following this, WACK continued to foster unconventional talents that have made waves in both pop and rock genres. For example, BiSH (Brand-new idol SHIT), which at the start was seen as successor to BiS, gained recognition with their “punk band without musical instruments”, even collaborating with prominent figures like Taka (ONE OK ROCK), MEG (MEGMETAL), and KENTA (WANIMA) for their music before disbanding last June of last year. At the moment WACK manage more than 10 artists and groups, also including BiS as the third generation is now active.

Still from the music video by 導天和 (Dao Teng Hou) for the song "龍頭蛇尾 (Dragon Head, Snake Tail)".
