Colourful photo of singer-songwriter Anly posing in front of a painting by Karin Okoso. The painting shows a lot of yellow and orange hues while the musician dresses a blue denim blouse and black skirt. Anly's right hand is resting on her head while she looks up. Her fingertips are painted green and might give an idea that she has been working on a painting before taking the photo. Photo by Seiya Fujii.

Singer-songwriter Anly will be returning to Europe for a couple of shows, including a visit to Manga Barcelona 2023 and a couple of solo shows. The Okinawa-born musician will be performing in London, Glasgow, Dusseldorf, and Barcelona as part of her Loop Around the World Tour.

Described as the next-generation singer-songwriter, Anly is famed for her performances using a loop pedal. You might know her from her song カラノココロ (Kara no Kokoro), her fourth major single, which was used as the opening theme song for the anime series Naruto: Shippuden, but it didn’t stop there. To name them: Beautiful for the anime series Seven Deadly Sins in 2018, Tranquility for the sci-fi anime movie Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These in 2019, Star Wink for the anime movie Natsume’s Book of Friends in 2021, and also VOLTAGE for anime series Boruto Next Generations in 2022. The most recent addition is the ending theme song for the anime series Dr.STONE.

Anly’s music consists of a mixture of English and Japanese lyrics, she does not shy away from mixing various elements of different musical genres in her music.  Last October, the singer-songwriter released her fifth album, titled 26ml, one year after the release of the album QUARTER.

Anly performed in Europe for the first time by appearing at the German event AnimagiC in 2019. She wanted to come back to AnimagiC once again, first in 2020, and then in 2022, but circumstances have prevented her from doing so yet. At last, her return to Europe (and that includes Germany) will be through her Loop Around the World Tour.

This is a digital painting of the avatar of Vocaloid producer and songwriter Kikuo with colourful and flowing long hair and two red horns. The painting shows Kikuo in a movement where he moves his arms, making it look that he has several arms. The avatar seems to be mysterious with a quiet but expressive look. This painting has been used for the Kikuo World Tour 2024 – 2025 “Kikuoland-Go-Round” promotion.
