Progressive rock band Green Milk from the Planet Orange will embark on a summer tour through Europe, starting on 23 August in Germany. The trio has scheduled 17 shows in 10 countries, the European tour includes a hand full of festival appearances and in addition they are looking for an extra show on the 26th of August. Originally the European tour was planned to take place in the spring of 2020, but that had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.

Green Milk from the Planet Orange are a band from Tokyo that got formed after the disbanding of psychedelic stoner grind band No Rest for the Dead. Two musicians from that band, A and Dead K decided that they were ready to start something new and that became Green Milk from the Planet Orange. They have been active since 2001, with a break from 2008 till 2016. There have been several changes in the band line-up in regards to bass players, even Margarette Hiroi (now active in 88Kasyo Junrei) being a bass player for a short while, but since Green Milk from the Planet Orange’s return in 2016, the band consists of A on drums, Dead K on guitar and Damo on bass. The music they create with this band gets described as an mixture of the music genres progressive rock, psychedelic rock and punk. In 2019, they released their third album, titled appropriately titled Third.
