Metal idol group Broken By The Scream will make their European live debut this summer in Austria, marking a new milestone in their musical journey. The shows are scheduled to take place in the weekend of 12 and 13 August in Vienna, where the four-piece will perform at the convention AniNite and a headliner show at the venue Chelsea.
With the surprising news of the four-piece, which started with the announcement of the headliner show at Chelsea, they also stated that they are planning to take part in a couple of big events in Austria in August. It is now confirmed that the group will be present at AniNite as one of the guests of honours, with activities scheduled on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 August. On Friday 11 August, there will be an opportunity to attend a Q&A where you can ask questions to the group members of Broken By The Scream, this will be followed up with a performance a day later on the 12th of August, after Nana Kitade’s performance. There are still tickets available for AniNite. On Sunday 13 August, Broken By The Scream will have a show at Chelsea in Vienna. Tickets for the show at Chelsea in Vienna are currently available for €21.00 in the presale.
Formed in 2016, their music gets described as the perfect balance of low growls, high screams and clean vocals. With the concept to combine screaming vocals with Japanese pop vocals, incorporating various elements such as metalcore and djent in the instrumental department, received a lot of attention internationally. Last June, they were part of Chaotic Harmony’s event Awaken Chaos, where they shared the stage with SANA, Flutter Echo, and Hollow Mellow. Later this month, they will release a mini-album titled Whitewater Park.
With their European live debut on the horizon and the promise of more shows to come, and the several shows they have done outside Japan in the last few years, Broken By The Scream are continuing to expand their global presence.
