In just under two months, in July, steampunk power metal band FATE GEAR will tour Europe for the third time, which will include several Dutch shows. This is the first time the five-piece metal band will perform in the Netherlands and we are pleased to announce that these shows will be presented by AVO Magazine!

Besides a show at Baroeg (Rotterdam), FATE GEAR will perform at FLUOR 033 (Amersfoort), and Poppodium Volt (Sittard). These shows will coincide with the celebration of 20 years of AVO Magazine, so definitely not something you want to miss.

The European tour also includes numerous shows in Germany, including Anime Messe and one show in London. This show is scheduled shortly before the start of HYPER JAPAN, on the Thursday evening. Should you already be planning to go to HYPER JAPAN for an entire weekend and have the opportunity to add an extra day, complete your long weekend with a FATE GEAR concert at The Boston Music Room.

The word has now come out who will accompany ‘Captain’ Mina on European tour, namely singer NANA (THEO NOVA, GUNGIRE), who has previously participated in a European tour with FATE GEAR, Kurosaki on keyboard, and Erika (Pinkish Crown) on bass guitar. It has since been announced that Haruka will unfortunately not be coming along as drummer, but that JUNNA will be working as guest drummer for the European shows, she was Marty Friedman’s tour drummer in Japan.

Shortly before the band gets on a plane for the European shows, FATE GEAR will have shows in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Taipei. The shows in Hong Kong and Taipei will be shows with ANCIENT MYTH and exist†trace. Meanwhile, the band has renamed these tour plans the first part of a world tour, so there is much more to expect from this band.

For the upcoming shows in the Netherlands, Captain Mina has recorded a video especially for them.

A cropped version of a photo of Shuya Onuki as KAMIKAMIKAMI, but edited in a way that it shows an eerie and mysterious moment. The photo consists of a bright light source, most probably the sun, and the musician who seemed to have taken the photo in a window. The editing is done by Floor Toppets @/fl00r99 on Instagram, and shows blurring and filters, making it an abstract photo.
