Kracie – Dinosaurs DIY Chocolate – Simple
Price: ± €8
Extra supplies: Kettle, Cup, Scissors and Plate
Tasty and educational: these chocolate dinosaurs are a fun snack for anyone who likes dinosaurs. With this kit you make chocolates with cookie crunch in them, in the shape of (pieces of) a dinosaur. The pieces you can then put together to create a whole dinosaur.
In the package you’ll find a mould, two bags of chocolate, a bag with cookie crunch, a picture with information about the different kinds of dinosaurs and a piece of cardboard that you can fold into a sort of tweezers to pick up the chocolate pieces with. Aside from the picture with information you van also scan a QR code on the packaging which will lead you to this informative website, unfortunately it is all in Japanese. Each mould contains multiple pieces of in total two dinosaurs and there are three different moulds available, whichever one you get is a surprise.
Flavour: ♥♥
The chocolate is creamy, but doesn’t have a very strong milk chocolate flavour to it. The chocolate also started to set pretty quickly at room temperature, so it might not actually be ‘real’ chocolate with cocoa butter.
The cookie crunch was a nice addition, but I would’ve liked it if they’d put more of it in the package. Now they were a limited added crunch, more would’ve been even nicer.
Although the concept reminded me a lot of this candy kit, I liked the chocolate of these dinosaurs a lot more.
Time needed: ⧗
Making the dinosaur pieces and putting them together won’t take a lot of time, but they do need to set in the refrigerator for 20 minutes or in the freezer for 10 minutes.
Difficulty level: ★
This kit has very few steps and is easy to make. Putting together the dinosaur pieces is simple, because you can easily see which go together on the picture.
Similarity: 📷📷📷
As you can see on the pictures below, the final product looks pretty similar to the picture on the packaging. There isn’t much that can go wrong.
Want to enjoy this kit again?
Clean the mould with warm water, after using it, and let it air dry.
If you want to create more chocolate dinosaurs you can fill the mould with chocolate and cookie crumbs, but you could also make dinosaurs out of candy or pudding.
This is not a sponsored review and because of this we won’t mention where this set was bought, search online using the name of this candy kit and you should be able to find it.
