The Chinese-Japanese-American rapper, songwriter and artist Lil Mariko will be touring soon, with quite some shows planned in Europe as part of her World♥Class♥Hoe tour. The musician, whose birth name is Katherine Mariko Zhang, has now established herself as a rising screamo queen that makes hardcore meme music combining elements of metal, hyper pop, and techno with absurd and hilarious lyrics. It is not surprising that she has a big following among the TikTok crowd. She started with her first single in 2019, where she collaborated with artist and producer Full Tac, titled Where’s My Juul which went viral.
She released her self-titled debut EP in March 2021 and has worked with artists like Rico Nasty, Dorian Electra, Zheani and more. One of these collaborators, Dorian Electra, the American queer gender-fluid singer-songwriter and LGBTQ+ activist, will bring Lil Mariko on tour for eleven shows that are part of Electra’s My Agenda tour, starting in Brussels on the 12th of April.
After that, Lil Mariko will go on her own for a couple of shows starting with her live band debut in London at The Underworld on the 4th of May. After a few other shows in the United Kingdom, including one at The Great Escape Festival, she will travel to Sydney and Los Angeles for a couple of shows.
