Good news for Japanese film-loving people! The dates for the 2021 edition – also the 16th edition – of CAMERA JAPAN Festival have been announced.CAMERA JAPAN will take place from 23 to 26 September at LantarenVenster in Rotterdam and then continue the festival from 30 September to 3 October at LAB 111 in Amsterdam.
It is expected that the film programme and extra activities will be announced in the very near future, so keep an eye on the social media and website of CAMERA JAPAN.
Last year, the film festival could take place but a bit different than planned as it was smaller than normal due to the ongoing situation regarding COVID-19. For most known as a film festival, CAMERA JAPAN, can be seen as a cultural festival with their exploration of visual arts, music, dance, fashion, food and more, in addition to their focus on Japanese films.
