The organisation behind the Belgian convention Atsusacon, Ganbaro VZW, has announced that there will be no 2021 edition of Atsusacon this summer. This means that there will be no Atsusacon for two years in a row due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, the convention was supposed to celebrate its 10th-anniversary and has to postpone this celebration once more.
The organisation shared a message post about the postponement of their 10th-anniversary edition: “With pain in our hearts, we have to announce that we will postpone our 10th-anniversary edition to the summer of 2022. With the pandemic still ongoing and the rules for indoor events still pretty strict for the summer, we don’t feel like we can offer you the true Atsusacon experience, especially for an anniversary edition.”
For the upcoming edition in 2022, of which the dates have not yet been announced, the theme will still be the same, namely Ninja vs Samurai.
